I’m writing a book
Each NFL offseason, I tell myself I’m going to write a book. And each offseason, it doesn’t happen. This year I’m making my intentions public so that there’s some level of accountability. If I don’t end up publishing before the 2019 NFL season starts, I’ll give each person who reads this
$100 a signed picture of me shirtless with Gerri.
By the way, I’m using the term “book” loosely. Of course I plan to self-publish (no real book company would want this) as an e-book, with an option for hard copy. The idea is to replicate the Listener Questions segment I do at the end of the NFL solo podcasts. The title in my head is Skin To Fur: Takes on Life, Gambling and Daily Fantasy Sports.
The goal is to give readers actionable advice on building DFS lineups, game selection and gambling. I’ll also be giving the correct takes on food, relationships, germ avoidance, tipping, gender optimization, procreation, canines and more. If you have a question you’d like answered for the book, send it to firstname.lastname@example.org. (Yes, that’s a real e-mail address).
Let me know what you think in the comments below or on Twitter. Most importantly, we’ve set up a landing page for the book here. Drop your email address on that page if you’re interested in being notified when the book is ready for release and other goodies. Thanks!
